English language
You will be given passages in this section of the UG-CLAT that are roughly 450 words long each. A student in the 12th standard might be able to read these passages, which will be taken from recent or historically significant fiction and non-fiction writing, in about 5-7 minutes.
Following each passage will be a series of questions that will test your language and comprehension abilities, including your capacity to:
Read and fully understand the passage's main idea as well as any arguments and points of view presented therein;
Make deductions and conclusions from the passage;

Recent events and general knowledge
You will be given passages in this section that are up to 450 words long. The passages will be taken from non-fiction writing, journalism, and news sources. Legal Analysis
You will be required to read passages in this section that are about 450 words long each. The passages may be based on actual events or hypothetical situations involving law, politics, or moral philosophy. You won't need to have any prior legal knowledge. You will be better able to apply general propositions or principles to the given fact scenarios if you have a general understanding of current legal and moral issues.
Following each passage would be a set of questions that would require you to:
Determine and deduce the guidelines and values presented in the passage;
Apply such guidelines and tenets to various factual circumstances; and
Recognize how modifications to the rules or principles may affect how they apply to particular factual situations.

Logical Analysis
The UG-Logical CLAT's Reasoning section will consist of a number of brief passages, each around 300 words long. One or more questions will follow each passage and will ask you to:
Recognize the premises, arguments, and conclusions of an argument;
Read the passage and note the arguments it makes;
evaluate the potential dependencies of conclusions on specific premises or supporting evidence by critically analyzing patterns of reasoning;
Interpret the passage's implications and use them in fresh contexts;
Draw connections and analogies, look for inconsistencies and equivalence, and rate the persuasiveness of your arguments.
Statistical Methods
Short sets of propositions or facts, graphs, or other textual, visual, or diagrammatic representations of numerical data will be included in the Quantitative Techniques section of the UG-CLAT, followed by a series of questions. You'll have to extrapolate data from these passages, graphs, or other representations and use mathematical operations on it.
To answer the questions, you must:
Derive, infer, and work with numerical data presented in such passages, graphs, or other visuals. Apply a variety of 10th-standard mathematical operations to the data, including those related to ratios and proportions, basic algebra, mensuration, and statistical estimation.
Making a proper study plan that is both realistic and effective is essential for exam preparation. Each person has a different method of preparation, so it is important to create a plan that works best for you.
This examination will evaluate the applicant based on five criteria. Consider the importance of each subject or topic when allocating your time, and do so in accordance with that consideration.
